No article for a week or so: I was busy traveling in Italia. I can now resume posting. ;-)
A few days before I left I took the pictures below. They show a pot containing two Australian carnivorous plants: Cephalotus follicularis and Drosera hamiltonii. I have historically struggled with these two species but since I have been keeping them outside, they have significantly fare better for me. The Cephalotus as you can is developing two flower scapes and, first time for me, the two rosettes of D. hamiltonii are also shooting one each.
While the Cephalotus flowers are interesting they are clearly not spectacular. I'm more eager to enjoy the sundew flowers. D. hamiltoni's flowers are rather large as far as I can remember. I hope I can witness the blossom of at least one of them. So far, a few flowers have withered already while I was in Italy and the current bad weather here in France might jeopardize my chance at attempting a photo session. Fingers crossed! :-/
